1. Introduction
Welcome to HoomFoxee!
We understand the importance of personal information and privacy protection. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use HoomFoxee and related services (“the Service”), as well as the rights you may exercise under applicable laws.
We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this Service.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to provide the core functions of HoomFoxee.
(1) Account Registration and Login
To create an account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Verification code
- Password
- Third-party login information (Apple / Google)
You may modify or delete your account under Profile → Account & Security.
Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal information.
(2) Device Binding and Connection
To pair and connect camera devices, we process:
- Wi-Fi information (SSID, signal strength, connection status)
- Location information (only for scanning nearby Wi-Fi networks)
- Camera device model, serial number, operating status
- Mobile system version and network environment
This data is used solely for device onboarding, encrypted transmission, and security validation.
(3) Video Viewing and Storage
You may view live video and playback recordings through HoomFoxee.
If you subscribe to cloud storage:
- Videos are uploaded to Amazon Web Services
- Videos are encrypted during transmission and storage
- Videos are retained only for your subscription duration (e.g., 7 or 30 days)
Recordings on TF cards remain stored locally on the device and are not uploaded.
We do not access or analyze your video content without authorization.
(4) AI Features
When AI detection (such as human detection or motion alerts) is enabled, the device may upload short
encrypted video segments for algorithmic analysis.
Characteristics:
- Encrypted transmission
- Automatically deleted after event detection
- Used only for security alerts
- Not used for identity recognition or marketing
(5) Voice Intercom
When you use two-way audio features, the microphone is activated for real-time voice transmission.
No voice data is stored or analyzed.
(6) Device Sharing
You may share device access with others via QR code.
Only the sharing relationship is stored, and no additional data of invited users is collected.

4. Cloud Storage & Cross-Border Data Processing
(1) Storage Location
Your video data is stored on AWS servers located in the United States, with full encryption.
(2) Cross-Border Transfers
Cross-border data transfers are protected with security safeguards equivalent to those required under applicable laws.
(3) Data Retention
- Account & device data: retained for the duration of your account.
- Cloud videos: retained only for your subscription playback window and automatically deleted afterward.
- Logs & security records: generally retained no longer than 90 days.
- Account deletion: upon request, deletion flows begin immediately and are completed in the shortest feasible time. Legal/financial records may be retained for the minimum period required by law, and will then be deleted or anonymized.
5. Third-Party Services (SDK & Processing Partners)
HoomFoxee integrates a partner-provided device service component (SDK) to support:
- Camera onboarding
- Encrypted video transmission
- Cloud storage management
This component may process device serial numbers, encrypted video, and network status solely for the above purposes.
Cloud and Payment Providers
- Amazon Web Services (USA): application hosting, databases, and cloud storage
- Stripe / PayPal (USA): payment processing and reconciliation
(Cardholder and transaction data collected by them is governed by their own privacy policies)
No Advertising or Behavioral Tracking SDKs
HoomFoxee does not integrate:
- Advertising SDKs
- Analytics SDKs
- Push SDKs
- Customer service chat SDKs
6. Data Security Measures
We maintain an information security management system and employ:
- HTTPS encryption
- Encrypted transmission & storage
- Access control and least-privilege principles
- Audit logging
- Server hardening
- Regular staff training
If a security incident occurs, we will notify affected users promptly.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct your data
- Delete your data
- Withdraw consent
- Disable notifications
- Cancel your account
Where legally applicable, you may also:
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest
- File a complaint with your local supervisory authority

HoomFoxee is not intended for minors.
If we inadvertently collect data from a minor, guardians may contact us for deletion.

HoomFoxee complies with major international privacy principles, including:

- China PIPL
If you are located in the EU/UK, your data may be transferred to the U.S. (AWS).
We will adopt:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) / UK IDTA
- Encryption
- Data minimization
- Additional required safeguards
We will designate EU/UK representatives and update this Policy accordingly.
We explicitly state: We do not sell personal data.
Users are entitled to:

10. Changes to This Policy
For significant updates, we will notify you within the APP and request renewed consent before implementation.
